EDAC Labs collects personal information when you voluntarily submit it to us via our Contact page. This Applicant Privacy Notice does not create or form part of any employment contract or otherwise. When you engage with Careers or apply to a job on this site, the personal data contained in your application will be collected by EDAC Labs. By submitting your personal information to EDAC Labs, you are confirming your express consent for this data to be processed by EDAC Labs and its subprocessors as part of your application for employment. You may contact EDAC Labs by emailing careers@edaclabs.com.
Your personal data will be shared with EDAC Labs' subprocessor AshbyHQ Software, Inc., a cloud services provider located in the United States of America and engaged by EDAC Labs to help manage its recruitment and hiring process on EDAC Labs' behalf. Accordingly, if you are located outside of the United States, your personal data will be transferred to the United States once you submit it through this site. Any transfer to AshbyHQ Software, Inc. will be covered by the 2021 Standard Contractual Clause transfer mechanism in compliance with EU safeguards.
The following indicate the categories of personal information as part of applicant data collection. These categories of information are used for the purposes of managing EDAC Labs' recruitment related activities, which include setting up and conducting interviews and tests for applicants, evaluating, and assessing the results thereto, and as is otherwise needed in the recruitment and hiring processes.

How long we keep Applicants’ personal information
We will retain your Personal Information as long as required to fulfill the purpose(s) for which this information was collected, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our contractual agreements, or as necessary for our legitimate interests, such as to consider you for other current and future employment opportunities and to help us improve our recruitment processes. If you do not want us to retain your Personal Information for consideration for other roles, or want us to update it, please contact us at careers@edaclabs.com. If hired by EDAC Labs, some of your applicant Personal Information will be kept in your personnel file. Irrelevant data may be deleted after a short period.
California Resident Applicant Privacy Rights
For California residents in the context of the CCPA, EDAC Labs does not receive any personal information as defined in the CCPA (“CCPA Personal Information”) as consideration. EDAC Labs will not collect, sell, or use the CCPA Personal Information except as necessary to process your application for employment with EDAC Labs. EDAC Labs does not sell and has not sold CCPA Personal Information within the preceding 12 months, as “sale” is defined in the CCPA. Further, we do not knowingly “sell” or “share” the personal information of California residents under 16 years of age.
To the extent we collect sensitive personal information (as defined under California law), we only use or disclose it for purposes permitted under California law (e.g., to perform HR activities such as payroll and benefits, monitor for security incidents, and for compliance and safety purposes). We do not collect or use sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about California candidates.

California applicants may exercise the rights listed below. However, these rights are not absolute, and in certain cases we may not be able to respond to your request, such as when a legal exemption applies or if we are not able to verify your identity.

How We Will Verify Your Request:
The processes that we follow to verify your identity when you make a request to know, correct, or delete is to verify the email address that you used when you applied for a role.
We have implemented the following additional procedures when verifying the identity of requestors:
Authorized Agents
If an authorized agent submits a request to know, correct, or delete on your behalf, the authorized agent must submit with the request a document signed by you that authorizes the authorized agent to submit the request on your behalf. In addition, we may ask you or your authorized agent to follow the applicable process described above for verifying your identity. You can obtain our “Authorized Agent Designation” form by contacting us.
Non-Discrimination and Non-Retaliation Notice
EDAC Labs will not unlawfully discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising your privacy rights under the California Privacy Rights Act.
